Dr. Daniel Otero is one of the primary veterinarians at the Animal
Emergency Clinic of Brandon. He graduated in 1992 from the University of
Florida. He worked as a relief veterinarian for several of the local animal
clinics in the southern Hillsborough County area. He was hired at the Animal
Emergency Clinic in 1993 and he is now full time at the Animal Emergency Clinic
of Brandon since 1999. He has over 20 years in emergency veterinary
medicine and you can trust your pet will receive the benefit of experience in
treating emergency situations.
Dr. William McCoy: William McCoy has been a veterinarian in the Tampa area for 16 years and is originally from Chattanooga Tennessee. He received his degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 1993 and spent the first few years of his career in the windy city of Chicago where he gained valuable experience by working at a multitude of clinics throughout Chicago, Illinois, and the suburbs.
It was in Chicago that he acquired an interest in emergency medicine and was able to work with a wide variety of veterinarians, clients, and nonprofits.
In 2000 he came to Tampa, and has worked with many veterinarians in Tampa, Westchase, South Tampa, Brandon, North Tampa, East Tampa, Clearwater, Palm Harbor, Polk County, and Hernando County. His surgical, diagnostic, communication, and people skills were greatly enhanced over the years by working with a wide variety of veterinarians in ever changing environments.
